Tickets for The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush will be delivered via a smartphone application in the weeks before The 153rd Open commences.
Provisions will be in place for fans who do not have access to a mobile device capable of running a smartphone application.
Detailed information about how, when and where to receive tickets for The 153rd Open will be published on our website and Help Centre in due course.
Transferring tickets
We would strongly encourage all attendees to hold their own ticket on their own smartphone for security purposes and to speed up entry on arrival. However if member(s) of your party do not have access to a smartphone, you may hold multiple tickets on one device. Transferring tickets can be done using the in-app transfer functionality to send any additional tickets to the other members of your party. We recommend transferring any tickets in advance of your arrival to avoid delays.
Re-admission to the venue
All attendees will be able to leave the venue and return on the same day if desired. When exiting the course, all attendees wishing to re-enter the venue later that day, must ensure that they collect a wristband when leaving the venue. If you are unable to display a valid wristband and your digital ticket on The Open Tickets App upon return to the venue, you will not be permitted re-entry to the event.
