Genesis Scottish Open

Aaron Rai, Alex Noren and Richard Mansell claimed the final three places on offer at The 152nd Open.

Rai carded a bogey-free seven-under final round to finish T4 at the Genesis Scottish Open, the final event on the Open Qualifying Series, alongside five already exempt players on 14-under-par.

Mansell found six birdies on the back nine and he stormed to an impressive nine-under 61. This allowed him to finish T10 at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, alongside Noren, who sank four successive birdies on the front nine.

The Scottish Open was won in style by home favourite Robert MacIntyre, helped in no small part by two birdies and an eagle on his final five holes.

The 152nd Open will get under way at Royal Troon on Thursday 18 July.
