A NEW PAR-3 CHANNEL ON THE OPEN WEBSITE

TheOpen.com will provide comprehensive coverage of The 151st Open, starting with our Live at The Range show in partnership with HSBC that will be broadcast throughout the week of the Championship, providing a unique insight into players’ preparations.

When The Open begins on Thursday 20 July, our leaderboard page will provide live scoring, full shot-by-shot data through ShotView powered by NTT DATA and player highlights, while we’ll also have a daily live blog packed with text, images, video clips and social media posts.

Meanwhile, members of The One Club will be able to watch additional live streams throughout the week (live coverage will be dependent on territories).

In addition to two featured group streams, our brand-new par-3 channel will provide dedicated coverage of Royal Liverpool’s exciting new hole, the revamped 17th. Fans can expect enhanced audio on tee, enhanced shot data and a ‘crowd cam’ as we bring you closer to the action on a hole which could make or break the Championship for those at the top of the leaderboard. Furnished with an infinity green, this stunning par-3 plays directly out towards the ocean and will be a hole to keep a very close eye on.

And with the deceptively tricky 13th hole also set to feature, drama is no doubt guaranteed on this innovative new livestream.

TheOpen.com will also be the home of video highlights and features, the latest news and reports from the Championship, in-depth reaction from the players battling it out for the Claret Jug, and much more.
