Fans will be able to enjoy a second series of Full Swing, the much-anticipated Netflix documentary following the lives and stories of leading professional golfers.
The immersive docuseries - produced courtesy of a link-up between Netflix, the PGA Tour and the governing bodies that conduct men’s Major Championships, including The R&A - was released in February, providing fascinating behind-the-scenes insight from the 2022 season.
Full Swing allows followers of The Open to see the event through the eyes of its competitors like never before, with exclusive content having been filmed inside the ropes at St Andrews as the world’s best battled to secure the Claret Jug in a historic year for golf’s original Championship.
A new season, including The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool, will now be covered in similar fashion after Netflix confirmed a second series of Full Swing was in production.
Many leading players feature prominently in the initial eight-episode series, including Champion Golfers Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Collin Morikawa, along with further big names such as Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka, Ian Poulter, Joel Dahmen, Matt Fitzpatrick, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Sahith Theegala, Mito Pereira and Joaquin Niemann.
The documentary gives fans a chance to get to know the players through their wins and losses and witness what it takes to compete – and succeed – at the highest level in men’s professional golf.
