The 150th Open delivered a fittingly dramatic conclusion on Sunday as Cameron Smith produced one of the great final rounds in a major to secure the Claret Jug.
Four behind at the start of Sunday, Smith collected eight birdies - including six on the back nine and five in a row from the 10th - on his way to a stunning 64.
His 20-under-par aggregate - the joint-best in Open history - left him one clear of playing partner Cameron Young as Rory McIlroy finished third.
