Xander Schauffele is the Champion Golfer of the Year following a magnificent performance in The 152nd Open.

Six birdies in a magnificent bogey-free 65 ensured the American sealed his second major title of the year following his victory at the PGA Championship in May.

Justin Rose (67) and Billy Horschel (68) shared second place, the latter birdieing the final three holes, while Thriston Lawrence (68) took fourth on six-under.
