Will compete in his sixth consecutive Open at Royal Portrush after being among the 30 qualifiers for the PGA Tour’s season-ending Tour Championship.
This came at the end of a year which began with him finishing runner-up to amateur Nick Dunlap at The American Express.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout was a wild card selection for the 2022 and 2024 Presidents Cup matches and despite being on the losing side on his debut he was unbeaten, halving his fourball with Mito Pereira against Kevin Kisner and Cameron Young. He then defeated Kisner in the concluding singles.
He is a three time a winner on the DP World Tour and played The 150th Open at St Andrews thanks to a tie for second place at the PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic, where three spots were up for grabs as part of the Open Qualifying Series.
Earned victory at the 2019 Estrella Damm NA Andalucia Masters at Valderrama - winning by six strokes.
Also enjoyed four-stroke success at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and marched to a five-shot win in the South African Open en route to topping the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit.
