Does my Experience include reserved grandstand seats? If not, can I purchase grandstand seats?
As part of your package, you will have access to multiple complimentary viewing platforms and grandstands on course for best viewing experience. Selected packages also have grandstand seats allocated.

I have already purchased Classic tickets for The Open. How do I upgrade to attend in The Open Experiences?
You can upgrade your Classic tickets or Experience tickets to another experience package subject to availability.

Can I purchase The Open Experiences on the day of the Championship?
No. The Open Experiences tickets will not be available to purchase on any given day of the Championship. To guarantee your place at the Championship, and to take advantage of early-season prices, we would encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance.
I have purchased an Experience ticket for The Open on another website. Is it legitimate?
We would always advise that you purchase tickets for The Open via this website or one of our authorised providers as tickets sold on our sites are 100% official. Unfortunately, we have experienced situations in the past where tickets purchased from other websites turn out to be fraudulent and are therefore invalid and voided.
Can a junior attend in The Open Experiences?
Children under 16 years of age cannot attend The Open unless accompanied by a responsible adult who holds a valid course admission ticket.

Children do not gain free entry to The Open Experiences and must have their own experience ticket paid in full. Babies aged 18 months and under will be permitted access to The Open Experiences but will still require a Junior ticket.

Junior tickets are subject to availability and have to be secured when setting up the initial booking.
I can no longer attend. Can tickets be returned? If so, how?
Tickets may be returned/refunded within 48 hours of purchase. The right to cancel a booking must be exercised no later than 21 days prior to the first day on which competition golf is played. Any tickets purchased after this time cannot be returned or refunded. All cancellations must be requested in writing by e-mailing Experiences@TheOpen.com.
I am a wheelchair user. Can you please advise if your Experience packages are wheelchair accessible?

I am in need of a carer while attending The Open Experiences. Can I bring my carer with me and do they require their own ticket?
Yes, you can bring your carer with you while attending The Open. However, all attendees including carers are required to purchase their own ticket for any of our Experiences.
Is food and beverage included in my Experience package?
Yes, complimentary food and beverage is included in your Experience package.
Is parking included in my package?
Information about parking will be included in your digital information pack, which will be available to view closer to the Championship. If you are unsure about your parking pass, please contact a member of The Open Experiences team at Experiences@TheOpen.com and we can offer you further information.
Can I park my vehicle overnight?
Unfortunately, vehicles cannot be parked overnight as the track is re-laid every night.
Is there a dress code?
We advise that you dress smart casual or in golf attire. Comfortable shoes are recommended – golf shoes with soft spikes and smart trainers are permitted in all of our facilities. Denim and shorts are permitted. It is advisable to remind your guests to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat in case of hot weather, and umbrellas or waterproofs in case of rain.
Can I bring a child’s buggy or pushchair?
Yes you can. However, please ensure that your child has the required ticket to gain entry to the course and Experiences. Please also be aware of the uneven course terrain and/or stairs to access the Experience areas.
Can I leave The Open and come back in on the same day?
Yes, The 154th Open will operate a re-admission policy.

I have booked The Open Experiences. When and how will I receive my tickets?
Experience tickets will be available to view and distribute to guests in the official Open Tickets app 4-6 weeks ahead of the Championship. All course access and experience tickets are digital.
I have sent one of my guests an Experiences ticket but they haven't received it. What should I do?

Do I need to let you know of any dietary requirements?
We can cater for all allergies and dietary requirements but please advise our team of any allergies or dietary requirements at least 8 weeks prior to The Open via phone or e-mail.
Are dogs permitted into the course?
Dogs are not permitted into the course, with the exception of Guide Dogs.
Can I bring a rucksack/bag/luggage into the Championship?
Small bags/rucksacks will be accepted into the Championship but may be subject to security searches. Oversized bags will not be permitted within the venue.

A cloakroom will be available during your visit in The Open Experiences.
Can I bring my camera?
Mobile phones and personal cameras are permitted, however, no audio recording, video recording or flash photography is permitted at any time. Still photography is permitted, provided that it does not disrupt play and images are not sold, used or published commercially in any way.
